Shekhina Glory is a group of family and friends souled out for God. The name Shekhina Glory is defined as the “glory of
God”, mentioned throughout scripture. Just like the Israelites who followed God in the form of a pillar of a cloud out of
Egypt we also follow God’s direction with every path we take. Exodus 13:22 says that the pillar of cloud never left its place
in front of the people. This pillar of cloud is a symbol of the glory of God. We hope and pray that through our music, our
audience will always be in God’s presence and that his will is fulfilled through our willingness to let God use us and our
talents that he has given us.
We hail from Gardendale, Alabama and call North Gardendale Baptist Church our home. The band consists of six members;
Keith Farris (Vocals/Guitar), Cristi Dickinson (Vocals), Caroline Farris (Vocals), Hunter Wright (Drums), David Burford (Lead
Guitar), & Thad Jones (Bass/Vocals).
Keith and Cristi formed the band in December of 2008 and slowly started adding members and forming our sound. Our
style varies from influences such as December Radio, Brandon Heath, Charlie Hall, Jars of Clay and Casting Crowns. We
recently took 2nd Place at The Battle of the Bands hosted by Verse7 Ministries and have shared the stage with artists such as
Tony Nix, Cody Mashburn, Nine Lashes & Cool Reign. We are amazed at how God has put us together with people of his
choosing and with his timing. This ministry has truly blessed and enriched our lives and we pray that it will do the same to
the lives of people that hear us. Just as our song ‘Livin for Jesus’ says, “Lord, use your hand to hold mine and the other to
clear the line”, we look forward to seeing what God has in store for us next.
