Established in mid 2008, Lunch Money is a group destined to acheive success. Yung Swagg, G Wiz, and Philly Fonz are all from diffrent locations but were brought together by mypace and their love for music. The three are far from just music associates. Yung Swagg, G Wiz, and Philly Fonz are all from diffrent locations but were brought together by mypace and their love for music. The three are far from just music associates. They started as group by the name as Blockstarz Fam. with co-members such as La'kidd, E-dub and S.S.Easy which they still are tied in just branched ofF to approach music in a totally diffrent way. Lunch Money isn't your average every day rap group. The music they create is far from "gun slinging" and "crack dealing" which nothing is wrong with, but Lunch Money's music reaches out to those who can relate to the more unexpress things in life. For example thier first two single's released,"Mrs.Johnson" and "Bus Stop". Mrs.Johnson is a song referring to a friend of thier mom."Bus Stop" is self explained. being at a bus stop and riding the bus. I dont know about you but never before have i heard songs or song titles which such content. Which makes the group very unique especially being a rap band. The mastermind behind the operation is "Showdown" radio personality for "102 Jamz", a popular radio station in North Carolina. Also a well knowN producer/artist. Noticing the talent within Lunch Money, his initial thought was to use the potential to create what is now Lunch Money. From here sky is the limit for the young group and expect more great music.
