Jeff Rozak is an amateur musician, songwriter, and poet based out of Buffalo, NY, with such internet-radio hits as 'Homage' 'Eye to Eye' and 'Testify,' and internationally published poems like the dark and foreboding 'Vampire.' Jeff Rozak is an amateur musician, songwriter, and poet based out of Buffalo, NY, with such internet-radio hits as 'Homage' 'Eye to Eye' and 'Testify,' and internationally published poems like the dark and foreboding 'Vampire.' Rozak first decided he wanted to learn to play the guitar, as Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top put it: "When I learned the sounds coming out of the radio were just that.(A guitar) I knew I wanted to be a part of that." At a young age he convinced his mother to teach him how to play on her old acoustic, but it wasn't long before folksy "cowboy chords" weren't enough. Saving money collected from a paper route, Rozak bought his first electric guitar and amplifier around the age of 15 - and never looked back! Inspired by the bluesy sounds of hard rock artists such as ZZ Top, Led Zepplin, and Guns N Roses, Rozak began his quest for that "Perfect Tone," -- a quest that would eventually incorporate the sounds of Surfer Rock, Delta Blues, the "British Invasion," and Rock & Roll from the heart of Tennessee. Even though (or perhaps because) he's never had any formal training, Rozak is always aspiring to improve -- learning everything he can, and constantly looking to invent something new -- though never straying too far from that overdriven Blues-Rock tone that first opened his ears all those years ago.
