Aurora Pfeiffer is a twenty year old singer/songwriter from Albany, New York. She has been singing, playing piano, and guitar for well over a decade. Currently she has over seventy songs written and thirty-three songs officially copyrighted. Since her debut on the music scene Aurora has opened up for the MyPop8tour that toured the United States. She shared the stage with national recording artists Monet and Nu-Tren for Maryland's, "Spring Fest 2007." Around her local area she has played in the malls, Borders, cafes and festivals as well as numerous benefit concerts for various organizations. She has also produced and song written for some local record labels. One of her songs was featured on the Shine in the Music series compilation CD that was distributed by Sunmark Federal Credit Union. In 2006 she was in CosmoGIRL! Magazine and featured on their website for her song "Just A Phase," which finished within the top ten out of one thousand other songwriters in a national songwriting contest. In 2007 her song "Barely There," was featured on CosmoGIRL!’s website, finishing in the top ten a second year in a row. She released her debut album “Once Upon A Time’s No More,” on December 22, 2007 in which she wrote and arranged all the tracks featured on the album. In the spring of 2008 and 2009 she interned with Capitol Records in Hollywood, California and Manhattan. In the summer of 2008 Aurora performed live at The Altamont Fair in the Grove on the “Northup Memorial Stage.” Currently Aurora has been focusing more on songwriting than performing, although she still has a passion for doing live shows, she finds it difficult to perform with her busy schedule. Aurora is finishing up her last semester in college at SUNY Oneonta where she is majoring in music industry and hopes to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter when she graduates.
