Lyrics
Sunday morning, you're alone, listening to a song on the radio. It takes you back to a time when you believed that things would turn out fine. But you know that where you are is so far from the star that you chose to light your way, and you're just drifting into another day. Buy a ticket, board a plane, and you hope it might take you away. But you still end up on the ground, couldn't hold the happiness you'd found. So you get into the car, find a bar and stay there far into the night, drifting until it feels all right. You'll keep reaching for more till you have everything, except what you're looking for. Outside it's pouring rain, and it makes every place look the same. There's no sun to light the dawn, so the night keeps going on. And the neon signs blink, turquoise and pink, and you think there's nothing here for you to stay, as you're drifting into another day. You go drifting into another day.
